Starting the week of March 31st practice will be 6:00-7:30 on Monday and Thursday only. There will not be any Tuesday option practices for the rest of the Season. See the calendar for more information. |
The Beatrice Wrestling Club wishes to express our sincere sympathy and prayers to the Wiens family. Josh passed away on Sunday the 20th after losing his battle with cancer. For those of you who didn’t know Josh, he was the older brother of Andrew and Jarrod. Josh wrestled with the club from 1990 thru 1996 and went on to be a District Champion and a State Qualifier in high school. When Josh lived in Grand Island after college, he was an assistant coach at GICC for two years. After moving back to Beatrice, Josh helped coach Fentress as an assistant at the high school. A scholarship fund is being set up by the Wiens family in Josh’s name and will be available to graduating wrestlers who wish to further their education after high school. Anyone wishing to donate to this fund can contact Sonja Morgan for more information. |
